I've wanted to talk about this since he was mentioned xD and the way it was hinted! I completely missed that part the first time I read it!

of course! as I'm rereading I realized I missed so many hints and clues to what will happen!
there is a scene where Percy dreams of Leo, Jason, Piper and Annabeth! :)
and then keeping that in mind when they go to Alaska to Hazel's place, Percy, Hazel and Frank look at a picture of Sammy and Percy says he saw Sammy before...like Sammy looked very familiar...and that was cuz he looks like Leo! (I'm not going to say the relationship between Leo and Sammy because it will be clarified moving on! but love how connected the 7 heroes are!)
Oh yes! I only wondered why he looked familiar to Percy, because I didn't remember he saw a dream where Leo was!
I really enjoy that Rick includes these little hints in his books, you know. It makes the reading so much more fun! I am always asking myself - When have we seen this already?Foreshadowing is such a cool thing!
That also connects with Reyna and her sister and Percy destroying their home. You know, 'cause we saw that in a prior book. :)
Guys, I'm soo excited about Mark of Athena!! I really wanna see Annabeth's POV!

Are you going to skip The Demigod Diaries, that has been published before Mark of Athena? I know that it's complimentary, but last complimentary actually gave nice extra things. I want to read The Demigod Diaries also xD

I want to read The ..."I don't know if I'll read them. I know that The Demigod Files gave us something more and it was a nice companion. But I guess I'm not feeling it. I am in a reading slump rn and the only series I can concentrate on is The Heroes of Olympus, I really enjoy this BR and it motivates me to read - I don't even have to push myself into it. And that's very nice, so thank you for that. :)
But I'll surely continue with Mark of Athena, I'm even more excited when Joyce says it's her favourite book of the series!!
You can read it, Johanna (and you Joyce as well if you choose to re-read it :D), I can wait until you finish and then we can move on with the next book.

We can some extra info so it's worth the read! I wouldn't say it's a necessary read...but it does add on!

Oh, that sounds lovely! I really liked their friendship at the beginning before Thalia turned into the pine tree and Luke became a bad guy.

it was a cute story! :) It was fascinating how it came to be! and the way their outcomes was predicted :') Little Annabeth is just the cutest!
I'm halfway done "Leo Valdez and the Quest for Buford" :) I'll try and finish the book tonight!

and for the last story, I read it a long time ago and remember I didn't care for it much...but now as I'm older and rereading it I kind of like it more! it isn't my favourite story of the book, but it's still a good read!
I agree with you most of the things mentioned in the beginning have not been answered :/ but I do like Rick Riordan's son writing style! this could have been for more older readers...but still interesting! I love how everything is so connected!
Hahaha, I rememeber names always wrong xDWell I'm adult reader and it still wasn't for me. It was so complicated somehow, I didn't remember who was whos mother or sister or child or something. Maybe there were too much names ;) ;)

But the way it ended- Gosh! I am sooo hyped about the next book! I wanted the two camps to meet, for God's sake and they DIDN'T.
And I also needed an Annabeth-Percy reunion! We didn't get any of it, it finished just on the biggest cliffhanger ever...Why does Uncle Rick do this to me? This is pure torture!
