I'm happy we have Percy back! :) and even with his memory erased he's just as lovable <3 I find it so cute that even if he lost his memory he kind of still remembers Annabeth :')

and how do you guys feel about the new characters?? :) I remember loving Frank and I still do! their backstory is just as fascinating as Leo and Piper and I cannot wait for you all to read it!

and I remember the first time I read it I was really creeped out by Octavian...but now I find him really funny! especially with his obsession with stuff animals :P

Haha, Octavian is super creepy. But all scenes with him & stuffed animals had been hilarious. I actually understood now that there has actually been this kind of things: "reading" what's going to happen using human's insides. Now I can't get these words in English but I think you know what I mean :D I actually read one book where there were people using people for this use. And it was so horrible. With stuffed animals it's fun :D But while I read that another book I thought it was something the author has created. But know when in this book where similar thing happening I think this actually is something that has been done? Has they used animals or also people..? (hide spoiler)]

Oh yes! I was (well still am, to be honest) why Nico didn't tell him anything, but I guess he has his reasons. It's interesting tho.

I really like Frank, he is an unconflicted, very genuine guy with a good heart. (view spoiler)[I still can't believe he is a child of Mars - That just doesn't suit his personality, for example when you compare him to Clarrise (hide spoiler)]

Well partly it's easy to guess: there is this one big villain, they win. Go back to camp and Percy gets his memory back. And Annabeth. And then they sill have this bigger villain left. Buuut. I think there would be nice scenes during this trip :D

Yup, he's not, but maybe that is a good thing - it will feel more real, otherwise he couldn't get hurt (not that I want him to be :D), but I just need to be a little worried about him, even tho I know he won't get killed 'cause he's the main character.

I guess I just meant that I am curious if anyone is about to die. At the start of PJO, I thought that no one would get hurt like that because it's a middle grade. But Uncle Rick proved me wrong, he surely isn't afraid to kill off his character!

Haha, I agree with you. It doesn't matter that we know/guess main things from the plot because there is still so much else happening!

And also - I feel like this series is more ya, not middle grade anymore. So we can really see that Rick Riordan improved in his writing and it became more...I don't know...mature, maybe? Like you can see he's writing for a long time now and he came far. I liked his books from the beginning, but it's cool to see how they changed.
Even the characters don't feel childish or anything. That's what I really love!

agreed!!! this series is so much more complex...which is why I think I prefer this series slightly more than the PJO series (unpopular opinion here :P)

I think that PJO is just a super comfortable read, so I kinda get why you like it more. But I love both, every single series has something. :)
