Update on my exams: Today was my social exam and everybody started it by panicking because our question paper was 10 mins late. Whats worse is that the questions were difficult and we first did mcq's and one mark questions in forms but our sweet social teacher told us to write it again if you were dissatisfied with forms in a4 paper but what she didnt know was that after submitting in forms many knew the correct answers and where they did the mistake so now many would be correcting but I am proud to say that even I wrote it again a4 but not for the marks but because our technology is so stupid that I selected one option but it got changed to another option

Numerator- The numerator is the number on top of the line. It's used to tell us how much are we talking about.
Eg: 2/3 means two parts out of three. Two is the numerator as it tells us how many parts we're talking about.
Denominator- The denominator is the number at the bottom of the line. It's used to tell us the total parts.
Eg: 4/8 means four out of eight parts. Eight is the denominator as it tells us the total number of parts.
Examples-
- If you have eight cats and three of them are black, what is the fraction of black cats?
Ans: 3/8
- If you have ten slices of Pizza and you take 6, what fraction will your sister get?
Ans: 4/10
Mixed, Proper and Improper Fractions
Proper Fractions- Proper fractions are fractions in which the Numerator is smaller than the denominator.
Eg: 5/6 is a proper fraction because 5 is smaller than 6.
Improper Fractions- Improper fractions are fractions in which the denominator is smaller than the numerator.
Eg: 6/5 is an improper fraction because 5 is smaller than 6. IT is drawn as
Mixed Fractions- Mixed fractions are a mix of whole numbers and fractions.
Eg: 1 1/2
Mixed fractions can also be written as improper fractions and Vice Versa.
Eg: 1 1/2 can also be written as
1 1/2
2x1+1
3
=3/2
And the fraction 11/2 can be written as
11 divided by 2
Quotient- 5
Remainder- 1
Answer- 5-1/2
