Nice to meet you, Lyra! I have both of those on my TBR. Some books I’d like to read this month are (I’m on mobile so I can’t do the link thing, sorry!) The Sword of Kaigen, Cinderella Is Dead, If We Were Villains, The City We Became, and Her Name in the Sky

So I checked back to my library, and the only one available to read is The City We Became. Some other things that I could read this month: The Poppy War, These Violent Delights, and An Ember in the Ashes.

okay, awesome! there’s 68 chapters including the prologue, so we can read about 10 chapters/day to finish in 7 days, or about 7 chapters/day to finish in 10 days. i’m perfectly fine with either pace!

The ending was quite predictable to me, but it wasn't bad. The book overall could've been much shorter. I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more if some parts were taken out.
