March Shelf is 2020-releases

At complete random chance, this month's shelf coincides well with LBI! for March ;)

What was your 2020 anticipated release? Have you read it & did it meet your expectations? If you haven't read it, here's your chance!!

Meg (megscl) | 1073 comments Lots of options for this one! Some I have from the library waiting to read that I will start with:

ooh, I read that last one, Meg! Beautiful coming of age story :)

D.G. | 1370 comments I have several:
Ready Player Two
How to Fail at Flirting
Troubled Blood
Thick as Thieves

Likely I'll get to RP2, after I spent a credit on it. Although ratings are not great...

Marina (sonnenbarke) | 1513 comments Joyce, I loved Mexican Gothic, I definitely recommend it!

There are a few I should be able to get from my local e-library:

The Midnight Library
The Devil and the Dark Water
The Mercies

I will be reading Eight Perfect Murders for both this shelf and for March Book It.

message 10: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1224 comments I have a few on my shelf. Interestingly enough they are all historical romance.

A Dark and Stormy Knight
First Comes Scandal
When a Rogue Meets His Match

LynnB | 1769 comments 2020 releases left on my TBR to try to get to soon include:
The Midnight Library
The Vanishing Half
The Mercies

I looked forward to The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, but didn't enjoy it half as much as I expected to.

One that I have read and thought one of the best of the year was
The Girl with the Louding Voice

I might read this book too, but I've got it under another title Rules for Perfect Murders. Same book though

I have this on my wishlist, but it looks like I can't get borrow the ebook from my library, so I'll pass—especially if you say you didn't enjoy it that much after all. Maybe some other time I'll try it anyway :)

I am person # 618 on hold for The Midnight Library, so I don't think I'll be reading that any time soon.

Other possibilities more likely to arrive in a reasonable amount of time:
Dear Justyce
The Kingdom of Back

And I'm still browsing.

Wow that's crazy

message 18: by Karin (new)

Karin As it happens, I have The Guest List here for another read so will read this one.

That's as far as I have made it there right at the moment.

I've had it on hold for audio for about 6 months. Finally getting it on March 15!

I have a ton of new releases for 2020 on my shelf. I am planning on reading Mexican Gothic as I've heard such great things about it.

That's great that you're finally getting it! I waited a long time for Ready Player Two, but not that long.

I'm afraid to ask for the audio book for something that's in high demand, for fear I won't finish it before it's due. I used to listen in the car, but I hardly drive at all these days.

message 22: by Rosemary (new)

Rosemary | 948 comments I'm also waiting for The Midnight Library but don't think I will get it this month. Other possibilities are:

Dear Edward
The Other Bennet Sister
Bitter Pill
Before and After

message 23: by Beverly (new)

Beverly Reid | 120 comments I had so many to pick from, but will go with Where the Lost Wander by Amy Harmon since I already own this one!
