Aiswrya | 2044 comments Hi Jimmie! I’ve finished both the books I wanted to read this month:
Broken Warrior - 3 stars. I was very excited for this story but the writing was underwhelming. I felt like the author wanted to explore too many things at once and didn’t do any idea justice 😕
Kidnapped by the Pirate - 4 stars. The story was kinda slow, but the characters were great and the overall plot was well developed too. The epilogue was so sweet!

Thanks again for the picks :)

Jimmie A.M. (jimmie_am) | 11 comments Hey Aiswrya!

Ahhh, I get it; I was also very excited to read that story...oh well hahaha, what can we do? 🤷‍♀️
I'm glad that the pirate story was a better though. Aww, I love me some good epilogue!!! I'll read that one when I'm in pirate mode haha, right now I don't honestly know in what mood I'm in but we'll figure it out.

Seriously thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts on the books, it helped me too hehe. Oh and no problem! we could sometimes pick a book for each other haha (even if its a crazy one) every now and then so we get a little outside our comfort sone 😳😂, who knows? at least we might have a good time.

Sending you lots of hugs! 🤗

Mony (mony1) | 739 comments Mountain Kat,
The book I enjoyed the most was Surrender by Pamela Clare. A memorable historical romance story packed with great characters & history. Great to learn about the roles of the French, British & three indigenous groups in that battle in 1760s in NY state.
Surrender (MacKinnon’s Rangers, #1) by Pamela Clare
Other gems: Heartless by Mary Balogh, Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs
and Storm's Heart by Thea Harrison
Thanks again!

Romanticbookworm | 410 comments Kathy - I'm halfway through Darkest light of day by TM Frasier. I had hoped to finish it up over Easter weekend but life got in the way. Hope to finish it up soon as loving Abby and Jake's relationship.

Also lick will definitely be going on my tbr for future and if I don't get to that and challenge in this month will definitely at some point along with all my other tbr picks lol.
