Basically I was in the sixth seventh grade and I found this book with a girl who had (I believe) red hair and a cloak on riding a black horse in what I remember it to be a winter-like land. This girl lived with her grandmother because her parents died, and she found a pool of water which turned out to be a portal to another world, where she met a boy who could turn into a horse and a dog (I believe) they became friends and this queen used a magic spell to disguise herself to be beautiful which ultimately resulted in this girl having to fight her because she found out this queen actually killed her mother and her father and she was the rightful ruler to the land, etc. I am becoming very frustrated that I cannot figure out the title of this book. It has two other sequels to it and I believe the title started with a f but I'm not completely sure. If anyone can help me I would be so appreciative!!
