Okay so this is a good beating the odds survival book. I laughed out loud a few times and cried more than once. But, I have a problem with with it. There is so much that happens to Ashley that is just totally not believable. I don’t want to give anything away but the main thing that annoyed me is that there is no way she didn’t pass out, not once, with all that she went through. It’s one thing to make her a tough girl but come on, be believable. Grown macho men would’ve passed out with half the things that happened to her. Anyway, that’s why I gave it three stars.

This isn't the worst book I've ever read, but it's a close runner up. We're told what a good survivalist the main character is and then she makes one stupid decision after another. It's not realistic at all. I give it a 2/5, and that's being generous.

3/4 I enjoyed this one for the most part but it wasn't the greatest. The other reviews were right though, it wasn't believable.
