Book starts with main girl who is with her boyfriend (I think his name was Seth) and her father shows up to take her somewhere so she kisses her boyfriend and leaves ( she tells us that the whole town knows how much he loves her) with her father.
Later on she finds a man in a lighthouse and he tells her he has been cursed and can't leave, the only way he can is if she kisses him ( and takes his place).
There was also a scene where (I think aster a party) her boyfriend picks her up in his truck and she smells perfume and finds out he was with another girl, so she breaks up with him.
Somewhere near the end of the book the girl goes back to the lighthouse ( I think she was upset) and she kisses the man and takes his place
The last chapter was in his point of view, he was on the beach and he watches a girl ( I think is was the main girl) run up to her parents and hug them.
This book was in 1st person from the girls point of view.
The cover was a girl with a braid looking at a lighthouse( I think there was a storm on in too).
I think I read this in 2014 - 2017
