I finally started Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. Only 40 pages in and enjoying it so far. Really busy week so I don't know if I'll have it done by the weekend or not.

Just finished Midnight Sins by Cynthia Eden, 2nd book in her Other series. Again it delivers exactly what it promised.

Will start Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur, my pick-it-for-me challenge book.

I wouldn't say better...I'll say more like, since I enjoyed the first book, and like the style of writing, then my expectations is that this book will have the same elements and it did. (If that makes sense). Furthermore, she continues to build her world, and we meet previous characters and know more about them. Now I'm definitely interested in Niol's story.

and the hemaphobic vampire, too...who is getting better in the second book. The succubus looking for a meaningful relationship in Book 1 is the heroine in Midnight Sins.

Started listening to Naked in Death by JD Robb, first book in her In Death series. I'm looking forward to meeting Roarke.

Finished House of Night Book 3, Chosen. For all her gifts and powers, Zoey definitely made some pretty stupid mistakes.

Most of the way through Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris. Enjoying it so far. Still trying to find the book for my RL bookclub - HELP! A Bear is Eating Me!.

Finished Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead yesterday. Finished Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris today. Between the two, I think I liked the Succubus world better but the Sookie Stackhouse writing better. I'll read both series to the end though.

Long weekend here just over and managed to get through: Nightkeepers, Dawnkeepers & Skykeepers - all by Jessica Andersen & all a part of the Final Prophecy series; Angel's Pain & Demon's Kiss by Maggie Shayne - all from the Wings in the Night series; Ruinair by Paul Kilduff; Shadow Dance by Julie Garwood; Tasting Fear by Shannon McKenna; A Dark Love by Margaret Carroll and A Perfect Darkness by Jaime Rush.

Wow Tosca, what a reading fest. you had!!! I took home heaps of books from the library thinking I would be reading all weekend. Alas, I spent the weekend looking after my Grandma, so only got a couple of books read. I'm currently reading Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs, then next up Caressed By Ice so I'll be ready for the next two anytime soon, Tosca.

I heart Mercedes Thompson :) She is what I want to be - well, almost: indepdent, kick-butt, humble, unassuming, strong minded and has a werewolf hot on her tail (so to speak). What's not to like! Will round up the next 2 Nalini Singh books in the PsyChangeling series so just let me know when you're ready for 'em and I'll post 'em down (and stick in a return courier envelope this time sheesh - talk about a bad memory).

Lol! No worries about the courier bag I've got some here, but can you email me your address? One of my co-workers is reading Caressed by ice after me, but I will courier the 2 books back to you middle of next week. So anytime after that for the next 2 would be fantastic...they are so good, am absolutely loving them. Cheers Tosca =)

After a relatively crappy Blaze book, read Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris yesterday. I enjoyed it more than the first. I'll probably read the next one today or tomorrow.

Finished Nora Roberts' Blue Dahlia yesterday (first in her In The Garden Trilogy) and started on Black Rose (the second) today. After the crappy start to my week, nothing soothes the soul like a Nora Roberts' book ... IMHO of course :)

I had similar experience with those, they are like candy - short, sweet and very addictive.

It turns out that I only have 1.5 books to read my month of October so I'll set the Sookie Stackhouse books aside for a few more days. And you described them perfectly well - short, sweet, and very addictive.

Am heads down in Redemption Alley by Lilith Saintcrow and really enjoying it. Put off reading it for about 3 weeks or so and I'm not even sure why. Opened it up on the bus this morning (I know, cutting it fine for one of my challenges eep) and was riveted right from the first page - probably because she's beating the snot out of a Trader. Aww, good days!

I'm now reading Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell. I like how it gives enough information to let the reader know what's happening but not too much that it loses its lyrical affect. 8D

Just finished Dead to the World. I just can't put these down. Fun fast reads. I didn't enjoy this one as much as Club Dead, but still fun.
