Klowey | 15 comments As a child in the late 1950s or early 1960s we read a play for St. Patrick's day. The only things I remember about it were that there was a character named Bridget and that the title was something like "The ??? Shamrock."

I thought it might be "The Good Shamrock" but I can find nothing. I'm 69 and went to school in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Does this play ring a bell with anyone?

Can't find much info, but it's a play for a juvenile audience.

Klowey, I added some details to the header/topic title. You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

Wow. I borrowed it from OpenLibrary. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this was it. Thank you so much!! I think my memory of a character Bridget was actually the chapter on St. Brigid. However, there is also a play in it in which there is a character of Bridget.

And, it makes much more sense that my class/teacher would have had us read a more substantial book like this than just a single short play.

Second time this group found my book within a few days. I am super impressed, not to mention grateful.
