If anyone has read this book tell me if you think it is good, but please don't give it away what happens, because I have the book but I have not read it yet.

This is from the Stephen King goodreads group. hope it helps. I can't remember if I read it or not. If I did, I have forgotten it completely. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I really enjoyed it! Definitely worth the read. Some of us did a buddy read on it not that long ago. Here's the link...https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I thought the storytelling was solid as King ever is, but that overall the stories lacked any real bite.
Yes. I loved this book. Everyone I talked to had a different favorite. Mine was the one with Chuck, I forget the name of it at the moment, but the different points in his life. It was so emotional and poignant. That's why I love Stephen King- he's got the chops to pull off anything, from pulp horror to serious literature.

The only two stories I really liked in this book were "Mr Harrigan's Phone" and "Rat". The story I hated most was Chuck.
I'm way late, but I also wanted to say how much I loved these stories! Did you get a chance to read them?
If you like Holly Gibney from The Outsider and the Bill Hodges books, you'll enjoy another story with her here. The "Rat" novella is a standout, and "Mr. Harrigan's Phone" goes down nice and easy, too. The "Chuck" story is a little experimental, and I'm not entirely sure it works. Nothing's super scary here, but there are a few fine moments. Overall, if you are a fan of Mr. Kings late-career works, you'll dig it.
