Let's see, I read Maid Sama, Kamisama Hajimemashita, a few arcs of Black Butler, the first bit of the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, and Pandora Hearts to an extent. I bought Cactus's Secret but I haven't gotten around to it yet. 😅 Oh my goodness I remember watching the older Fruits Basket anime they did! There's a new one out now, but I remember the first one ends on a heartbreaking note and I was scared it might get more sad in the manga! 😂 It was sooo good though! 😍

Hahaha yessss, I have the original anime on dvd from way back when, I used to watch it on a portable dvd player when we went places. 😂 The original anime didn't end on a cliffhanger or anything, but it ended very unfinished so that sucked for anime only watchers. But you need to absoutely watch the new adaptation or read the mangas because it is the best, most well resolved and satisfying ending ever. Some mangas rush them etc, but it makes me so happy.

Oh thank goodness!!! It totally broke my heart when the original anime adaptation was over and I was scared to trust the series again 😂 I'll have to give it another go! 😁 What other manga have you enjoyed?

Omg Fruits Basket season 2 started today and I cant wait to watch the new episode!!! Moving forward it will be the first time any of it will be animated and I can't wait to watch it on screen!! 😍😍😍 And My Little Monster, Noragami, and Ouran High School Host Club are also great. I could give you even more anime recommendations lol.

I'm so glad they made a new Fruits Basket, like, it totally deserved to be continued! 💕 I never read the manga for Ouran High School Host club or Noragami, but I did watch the anime for both. Both, but the anime doesn't go until the end of the manga. It doesn't cliffhanger or anything but I specifically got the manga after watching the anime because I needed to see if the characters got together haha. And I LOOOOVE Noragami, I'm still waiting on a new season! 😂 Attack on Titan must be my favorite anime though.

Okay, thanks! 😁 Ugh, I know! I want a new season of Noragami so badly I'd fund it myself if I had the cash 😂 I never really got into the Attack on Titan itself I'm afraid, but that first opening is probably my favorite opening of all time. It's just so epic 😎

OMG Callie haha I know it's so hard right?!? I was too indecisive to be able to choose one! The only thing I chose so far was the additional Merpeople Linguistics training which I'm SO excited about and immediately knew was for me! I love that option and it offers an immediate placement offer after completion too! I'm going to see what I end up reading and maybe choose a career based on that later on, or not lol

Dude, I need to read Finale, but I've been on the waitlist for it since I began reading Legendary. And I still haven't gotten it. 😝
I think you can read Christmas books in April if you want! It's an odd year, we might as well break out the Christmas stuff! 😁

And Librarian is a good choice! Not too many exam requirements, only 5. NEWTS requirements are harder though lol. There are three grades for the NEWTS:
Outstanding - 3 books
Exceeds Expectations - 2 books
& Acceptable - 1 book
So 7 books total to complete your Librarian career when NEWTS come around.

So far I've done Charms and Astronomy and none of the careers have both of those except for Alchemist which just has ALL of the exams lolol and I want to do something easier so I'm still undecided. Feeling really good now that I've gotten 2 of the exams down though! :)

And I keep watching the Hogwarts Library master list of all of the OWLS taken so far and it just keeps getting added to every few minutes, it's crazy, I love it lol. 4.3 million+ pages read so far!

I used to rarely use goodreads except to check book descriptions, and now I use it all the time. 😂 I think its really fun when you find friends to follow! It's fun to check on what they're reading and have read so far this year. And you can set reading challenges for the year so I like seeing how many books my friends have read so far for theirs!

Lol I reread it last night hahaha, using it for my Transfiguration too! I always love how volume 1 ends. I need to try and read everyday now because I didn't the last 2 weeks and fell behind on my OWLS lol. And I'll probably watch the episodes of FB that are out before the season ends, but it'll be nice because no matter when I decide to catch up now, I have a bunch to watch. <3

Yeah I guess jumping back and forth in the series can be confusing haha, being at the beginning in the mangas, but the middle on the show. 😂 And no hahha, I haven't even looked at the OWLS stuff in 2 weeks, so I only have 3 completed. It's not necessary to choose a career though. But I DID want to do the Merpeople Linguistics tho so I need read a book for that! I might just reread my "Mermania" book since it starts with M and is super appropriate for it haha and is short. I need to quick find all short reads 😂 how many owls have you done?

I saw the first episode when it first came out and then couldn't find the time to watch the next episode when it came out. 😅 It was pretty busy at the time, so for now, I haven't seen much!

Is the new adaptation different than the original one? I watched all of that and cried buckets when it ended lol! I couldn't get my hands on the manga so that first adaptation was all I had 💕

I have all the original mangas!! And I'm so thankful lol although the collectors editions out now are BEAUTIFUL and I want them too 😂😍❤❤ And the original one was also pretty accurate, but they changed a few things/the order of a few things. I remember people being annoyed with what they changed at the end with Kyo's true form reveal but u cant remember if it was how they unfolded it/changed the order or what. This new adaptation is more spot on with the books although theyve changed a few small things too. They're both pretty good. I haven't rewatched the original show in a while to say exactly though, but the original had SUCH amazing comedic energy, I feel like it's a little toned down in the new one but I still love it. Same story, same voices for the most part. 🤗🤗

Ok I pulled Mermania off my shelf to reread again for the Herbology Owl/to satisfy the Merpeople Linguistics course lol. Very appropriate book choice right. 😂 And it's a reallly quick read!

I haven't had the chance to continue the series yet, but I plan to make my goal for May only manga other than audiobooks, of course) so hopefully then I'll be able to gve myself the time to read it all! 😁🤞 Oh yay! Yes, I'd say it's a fantastic choice for the Met people Linguistics class! 😄 You know, I forgot to add that book to my next bookhaul list. I have to remember to add it. It just looks so cute!

Wait, on the laptop version of goodreads I think you can still reread a book witbout removing it from your shelf, can't you? I feel like I've done that before, but maybe I dreamt it... 😅

Yep, you just go to the book's page on Goodreads and hit that tab underneath the book's image, and change the status to Currently Reading. Same as on the app. And it just adds another "read date" to that book for you. You never have to remove and re-add it. That would be silly since people are always rereading books haha.

And ooo "m"angas for "M"ay! An M theme! And I think I decided I'm going to continue trying to complete the OWLS for now, even though the month is technically ending, I'm going to keep the prompts up on my wall until I finish it for me.

Ohhh haha no I meant my bookshelf. 😆 And I mean, once April is over you can't add your books read to the OWLS list anymore, so your pages read won't contribute to this year's OWLS page count. But I can still finish the OWLS on my own time just for my own satisfaction and decide if I want any of the careers later on. It's kind of a cheat haha, but also just for my own satisfaction of finishing it eventually. :) I can't wait to see what the page count officially ends at though, it was 14 million and something pages a little earlier, I wonder if we'll hit 15 million before it closes tonight.

Yeah, I mean I don't see anything wrong with bending the rules a bit for your own personal challenge. I mean, it's not like it can hurt anyone and the point of a reading challenge is to challenge you to read more/keep reading so I'd say it's succeeding on that front!
