- The series we read is the most popular series voted for by members.
- We read 1 book from the series each month.
- Everyone who wants to take part reads the book at their own pace and we all discuss the book.
- People can join in during any month and drop out during any month.

- There are none. It is free for everyone to join in with.
How long is this event?
- Several months long, depending on the series.
Example: If the series is 5 books long, the event lasts 5 months.

Mod
- These are different than series readathons.
- Each readathon has a theme.
- People recommend a book that fits the theme before the event starts.
- These recommendations are collated into a book list for the event.
- Everyone who wants to take part reads books from the list at their own pace.
- A random picker is created from the book list and can be used or not used to choose what to read for the readathon, this is up to the reader.

How long is this event?
- 1 month long.
Themed readathons hosted past and present:
- The October Readathon is our annual spookfest celebration. (see 2019, 2020, 2021)
- The Best Books Readathon starts off a new year by celebrating our best reads of the previous year. (see 2020, 2021)
- The March Readathon 2020 was in honour of Women's History Month.
- The Graphic Novel Readathon celebrated graphic novels and the comic industry.
- The Steampunk September readathon event celebrated a new and up-and-coming genre.
- The Fairy-tale Readathon celebrated the fairy-tale genre as well as fairy-tale retellings.
- The Black History Month Readathon celebrated black writers and black protagonists.
- The Movie March readathon event celebrated old and new movie and show adaptations of books.

- Challenges consist of tasks that I create and participants read books to fulfil the tasks.

August MG Reading Challenge
- The August MG Reading Challenge is an annual month-long reading challenge that takes place in a team-based format.
- Sign ups are required in order to participate.
- This was hosted in 2019, 2021, and will be hosted again in 2022.
Mod
- A group member can suggest a book or books they'd like to buddy read and if other members are interested a discussion page is set up where they can discuss the book.
- Each member who is interested reads at their own pace.
Sign up rules:
- There are none. It is free for everyone to join in with.
How long is this event?
- There is always a set start date for the buddy read.
- How long it lasts depends on how long it takes everyone to read the book but usually it's within 1 or 2 weeks and never spans the whole month.

- Each month a group member who signed up to recommend books will have their book recommendations featured on the group.
- People can read their recommendations or simply discuss them.

- 1 month long for each reader.
