A great early list Philip! We'll see closer to the year's end, but I suppose that Project Hail Mary will follow the fate of The Ministry for the Future - a strong and praised text, but seems not fully in line with fandom's wishes. also not sure about Sorrowland - the author has several nominees under their belt, but their prose is extremely gloomy
