Each book focused on one character's story. The first boy was the leader, maybe romance between him and the girl, last boy was a dragon whisperer? There also may have been a prophecy foretelling their arrival/one of the characters was king in the alternate universe. Modern day/medieval fantasy.

Lauren, how are the main characters transported to the medieval fantasy world from the real modern world? Where were they and what were they doing at the time?

I don’t remember exactly, it may have been some sort of magical object that transported them? A mirror or a trunk or something? Moving over was a surprise or accident on the kids parts, they were confused when they were suddenly in a new world
