SOLVED. Teens locked in room, told only way to get out was to kill one of them [s]

Book was read last year or year prior. It is a YA book about a group of teens who are locked in a basement room (believed they were meeting up for something) and convinced they need to kill one of their number to be let out.

Random things I remembered:
There were cameras to watch them, the heat keeps going up, windows are too small, it is a thunder storm outside, there was a lot of emphasis on a china cabinet. I believe one of the characters' families owned the building they were in.
