Team Labyrinth

I am assuming you have age school kids. I have two myself but they are still young and it is always mayhem. I do enjoy the continuous chaos and noise, not so much the mess left behind though.

unfortunately I have to remove your book "Wales" from the ss. While the word count should be ok, but the general ruling -which got confirmed yesterday- says that only books over 100 pages, i.e. from 101 onwards, count.
Sorry about that.

Lorna, 9 day-shifts sound really tough. What's your job?

Us too since Last April they have only been in school about a month... they started up two weeks ago again as the cases in Greece dropped low... But they are picking up again so not sure how long they will be going for.
Just finished my last around the world in 80 men which fits my bachelor challenge.... Admittedly they are not my favorite read but they were quick and got some points for here and my other team.... Going to settle down with My J.D. Robb now this i LOVE!!!!

*Was great to have some Fin time!!!!

2* I bit disappointed with it. I enjoy the first short story but then it just became repetitive.

Thank you for the completion post, Alma. I am sorry it wasn't so good, but at least it was short. :)

*Brilliant loved how Rourke and Eve become even closer while hunting down the cop killer with the help of the usual bunch!

I don't know how many times I have read this, but this is the 1st time I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it a lot.
The right edition is on my uno shelf/ss. As there are 100s of editions, I don't have the time to go through all of them till I find the rght one to link it here.

I love the HP books 1-4, but I found The Order of the Phoenix a complete letdown. I don't think I have ever recovered from that personal disappointment. :) Also I am not much taken with books 6-8.

The End Games

2/6/21
2 stars - ideal for a teenage boy or other zombie story lovers - just not my style.

The Corset

06.02.2021
4 Stars: Read this book if you:
- Have it Marked as to-be-read
- Like Victorian Era
- Have No Idea What Victorian Era Is
- Like Laura Purcell
- Have No Idea Who Laura Purcell is
- Like Reading
- Don't Like Reading
- Breath
Since The Boy in the Suitcase I have not found a fiction reading that involves me in its story in such a way that I want to know more and finally find the truth! It is so far one of the best fiction stories I came across in the past years and I will take a look at other Laura Purcell's titles.

The Player and the Pixie - L.H. Cosway

Happy Sunday, Teamies!
As this is the end of week 1, thought I'd give you a qucik update about where we are.
You were smashing! :)

Out of the 101 cards we already covered 40 (including the duplications with the 5 Draw 2 cards and the 3 Sandy posted below), we have 66 to go, but we still have 3 weeks, so I don't think we will have any problems reading for all the cards. :)
Some time next week, we will learn about our exciting February Mini challenge.
This does not affect the number of books we have to read by the end of the month (the books used for Mini tasks will also be used for the regular uno cards), just some exciting extra tasks. :)

The right edition is on my shelf.

I love The Lord of the Rings book. I enjoyed The Hobbit, but was not blown buy it that much.

Just to put it out there: we are in need of a book to cover the 7 Red card.
So if you have 1 that would work, just give us a shout.
Thanks!

I read the Hobbit back in uni for my English Lit class... Cant say i loved it either... Neither LOTR..... Loved the films (please dont shoot me) its rare that i enjoy film over books... Orlando bloom helped

In January I re-watched the extended dvds + the detailed documentaries about how it was all designed and filmed. I love those as much as the films. :)

And I'm so impressed by how great we are doing so far!!!!
I didn't get much reading in this weekend, between the kids, my husband, etc. But I'll be pushing to get another book done this week.

No worries. I have one, but as it would be a re-read, I was not that keen. But it's a quick read, so not a big issue. :)

Its my little Mans birthday today hes 6!!! how time flys... plus i have two longish books on the go atm (thats why i tried to cram last week) but im hoping to have them done by Thursday then will read Forever Wicked as its a quickie before weekend.....
