For non-fiction books you can use the title/author's name for sure and let's say if it's a biography about a certain person, you can use their names. However, if it's a history/documentary about WWII, you cannot use the names mentioned.
If you read non-fiction, please let us know and we will decided on a book by book basis. Thanks.

So i have this planned for next month.....
would you guys call it dark green green rather than black as i would.....

According to this website the cover is more than 50% green but let's see what the captain and co-captain say!

HOWEVER, without using tineye, I say that this is obviously more than 50% dark green.
Question is, could we use it to duplicate Green2 as a WD4 card. Any characters with T?

HOWEVER, without using tineye, I say that this is ob..."
No main character is called Lincoln, i will mark it as green and if there if u need it xxxx

I also double checked the rules considering non-fiction: we can only use title/author.

OK - good to know!

I just added another reading that will contribute to the color cards. Five Feet Apart is definetely a Blue cover and it fits for 6 or 9 (or even more, but I just found those informations so far!)

I have also read this if we need another reverse card :)
Thanks Lorna! :) We'll see

But it's less than a week to go!

For me it will be The Goblin Emperor

I read it every winter ever since I first got it into my hands. :)
And the blue cover comes in handy!

Agree Heather - I like to mix up my genres too.

I am currently reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and having quite a great time with this sweet story. I had watched the film with Emma Watson and Saoirse Ronan and I can't come with other faces when imagining the characters but the actors. I know there is a version with Winona Ryder and I am looking foward to watching it soon.
My only question is: why do they give Emma Watson pink dresses when the books mention it is blue? This happened on Harry Potter and also in Little Women. She has a lovely skin undertone.
Anyway, talking about my first reading, I will start with the Coloured Cards so I will go straight to The Corset by Laura Purcell and Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott. And yes, I usually read 2 books per time, I like to switch between the readings and I usually bring the Kindle on my nightshifts and read the printed ones at home by the window.
I did quite well this month by finishing 8 books and with another one to be finished, but this is not my normal pace. I will move to a new place on the following month and God knows how chaotic this is going to be, however as I said, my nightshifts are great opportunities to read a few chapters.

I also usually read at least 2 books at a time (sometimes 3), 1 on kindle or in print and 1 on my audiobook when I moving around, doing chores. :)

About the film I mentioned, have you watched one of them?

Only saw some trailers for the new version. I don't think I like the guy playing Laurie in this new one. I am a Christian Bale fan and this slip of a young boy does not even come close. ;) But then, I am already in my glorious 40s, so maybe that's why he seems too young to my -ahem- mature eyes. ;)

Books yesterday i finished the chosen BDB on my kindle and finished Audio booking keep me... I audio book alot.... I usually have 1 normal paparback which can take me tow to three weeks to finish (sometimes less in summer as i dont take kindle on beach) But its always in my bag so i get stuck in a waiting room or something its my go too, kindle i usually read every night for an hour or so with the kids while they fall asleep and audio on school runs while im cleaning, ironing, knitting, my beach walks and even sometimes during yoga.... usually i like quiet for that though depending on my mood also while in setting up shop during the season and while i play candy crush or garden scapes.... I do have my two kids though so i usually find weekends and evenings i dont read as much as im spending time with them....
I been looking at shorter books to read as apparently my average is 30... (i did sign up 20 - 30) i would say really its more 22 - 24, or 4 - 8 books a week but dont wanna let u guys down so will try my best.. im only participating in 1 buddy read during feb.... so fingers crossed i can hit 30

I think I might go with

I want all of you to have fun and NOT a nervous breakdown! :)
We'll see how far we can go on our enthusiasm, but I am very positive about it.
We'll take stock from time to time and let you know if we need to rally our forces for Team and Country! :D

Have a great weekend and prepare for UNO on Monday.
And here's a certified babysitter for children (2- or 4-legged) so that we can read! :D

* Please put those editions on your UNO-shelves
that you are reading and also link those on the tracking sheet.
* Once you finish, mark your books as read and make sure they
have a read date. Please add the read date to the tracking sheet.
* And then post your completion post here. If you already have
every detail on the tracking sheet, it's enough to add the book
link + the read date in your post. If, for some reason you couldn't
add your book to the TS, then post here all the details.
Thanks a lot! :)
Also, if you want, you can add how many stars you gave the book, why you liked it/didn't like it. :)

Melinda/Heather - can you remind me about the non-fiction book rules? I seem to remember characters can only be the very main ones written about in the book - and not sure what else is particular about the non-fiction books.
And can we include the narrator's name on audio books?
