Hey everyone, for the song/band guesses, I'd like to send in our first set of guesses in the next couple of days. To make that happen, I think we have two sets that we need to deal with...

First, in the sheet we have no guess for 28-30 (though when I looked this weekend there was a guess in there...so I'll add it back in and we can discuss if we think it might be right).

Second, we have two guesses in for 31-33. I think we should pick which one to send in for our first guess. In the sheet, I put the two options to the side. Put down your vote by putting an x in the one that you think it is (or DM me with your vote). Whichever one has the most x's will be the one I send. If everyone can vote by Wednesday, then we can get our first set of guesses in and we know which ones need to be revisited if we're wrong.

Hey all - just coming back from a road trip where I did not get much reading done. On a slow book and my audio isn't getting much attention lately either.

As discussions in the captains' group occur, some tasks get updated to give more wriggling room to teams with their books (because of the clues, I managed to come up with some unforgiving tasks). I will collect them and post them here as well.

*Task 2: A Mage will also count

*Task 4: a non-fic book about criminal organisation is also accepted

*Task 6. Read a book with a white suit or white hat on the cover
- hat can be a man's woman's
- besides the suit, any white men's clothing is accepted

Task 11. Read a book with a leopard on the cover or the word "leopard" in the title - panther will also be accepted on cover/in title

*Task 14 - For Scandinavia: Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands & Finland will also be accepted besides Denmark/Norway/Sweden.

*Task 18 - it can be a solitary diamond on the cover as well

*Task 20 - Erotica can be an embedded MPG, e.g.: adult fiction - erotica

*Task 21. Read a book where the MC is a doctor/nurse - Must be a medical doctor
for nurse/doctor book, if someone would prefer reading e.g. a memoir-biography by/about a doctor/nurse, that would be acceptable as well.

*Task 23
(a character with permed hair/a character getting their hair permed) gets you 10 points.
The Meg Ryan hair reference will be accepted as an "extra" in any of the books you use for the mini challenge, whether it's for the permed hair or some other task, for that you get 5 bonus points "only".
For the "Meg Ryan hair" the wording/phrasing can be different as long as the reference is there

*Task 30 - Dance or Dances can both be accepted in title

*Task 31 - updated - Read a book with MPG Mystery or Mystery-Detective

Im reading Setting on MAIN Page is wales (Happy coincidence as i had to read a book with an irish character for another challenge)

The default edition (see above) looks like an eclipse too (Again im not sure) but its not the edition im reading im not sure if i can use it?

We still need to complete 4 more Reverses...I see a number on the sheet, but if you have one down that you don't think you'll complete, let us know.

17. Read a book with a rags-to-riches plot - I am (quite) sure this book covers this task. The family lost almost all their money when the father dies, and they had to move from Rio de Janeiro to the countryside to a simpler life. Along with the story, we can notice that they start changing their fate by working on the land and providing for themselves and the poor.
The mother marries her daughters with hardworking fellows, and in the end, everyone is working for the community. One of the daughters gets married to a rich guy who has a farm and provides money for the whole family to restore a school for the community.
