message 2: by Paget (new)

Paget | 18 comments I started reading Stranger Than Truth Stranger Than Truth by Vera Caspary . It is a mystery first published in the 1940s. So far I am really enjoying it. I read the first 50 pages and maybe I will be able to read a little bit more to night in bed.

books.with.belle | 10 comments Currently Reading: The Last Hours by Minette Walters, a historical fiction based in 1348 England during The Black Death. I'm at page 76 and enjoying the story a lot more than I thought I would. I'll be reading more later, before bed and might dedicate tomorrow to reading.

BlurryBug | 357 comments I got a bit more reading done today
160 pages of The Lightness of Hands (story is kinda stressing me the freak out I really need a comfort read after this)
50 more pages of That Feeling When really enjoying but it is a bit slow moving.

Finished And Then I Turned Into a Mermaid which I would probably have loved as a preteen but as an adult I was so obviously not the target audience and I wont be continuing with the next book.

message 33: by Paget (new)

Paget | 18 comments I finished Nebelnacht. I am so glad that this is over. I thought about dnfing the book a couple of times. I didn't care for the mystery and I really disliked the characters and the writing ... Let's just say I was not a fan. Why did I read the whole Thing?

I managed to read 2 out of the 3 books i was hoping to read, and i am really pleased with my progress!

So, my week started with Τα Δάκρυα Του Θεού – Πολεμιστής Γρύπας by Γιώργος Καποδίστριας , a fantasy novel taking place in Middle Ages. Knights, kingdoms, swords and much blood. I gave it 3/5 stars.

Then, i completed this one Λιτανεία του χρόνου by Μελανιά Δαμιανού , one more war-themed book. I must say i really really enjoyed it and i am looking forward to read more books by this author. I gave this one 4/5 stars.

Can't wait for next month's challenge! <3

Ottavia | 7 comments So I’ve managed to finish reading The Rancher and the Rockstar on Monday and just now I’ve finished Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte.
The first book, I didn’t like it at all...it was lacking so many things; the second book instead was amazing! I really enjoyed this classic so much!
