Angie (just-me) | 16 comments When I was a kid I had a great picture story book where a group of witches had settled in a cave near a town or village and the village rabbis (I think they were rabbis, it's possible they were magicians or something.) in order to get rid of the witches, convince the witches that they are able to dance between the rain drops and that they will teach the witches (who fear the rain) how. When the witches are convinced the dance into the rain with the rabbis and melt away.

It just popped into my mind, and I can't remember the title of the story. Anybody remember this one?

PS I was a kid in the late 70s/early 80s

rivka I think this may be an adaptation of an I.B. Singer story.

Angie (just-me) | 16 comments Thanks, it turns out not to be I.B. Singer, but somehow in a convoluted way this helped me find the book I was looking for on Amazon.
