It was on a list of dystpian books we could use for a book project in the 8th grade but i lost the list. it had a girl who was the only person to be able to remember things after a, like, world wide mind swipe that would happen every 12 years or so. the title could be "Heartless" but i dont think so. the version of the cover i saw had like, thorny branches on it i think.
