Here we are wrapping up the last month of 2020, yay! How did you do with your reading goal this year? I made it to 46 books. I had set my goal to 40, so I made that goal, but I would have loved to squeeze in that last 4 to make it to 50. I just couldn’t quite make it there. How did you do on your reading goal for this year?

This month I read…

Fourth Comings and Perfect Fifths by Megan McCafferty- This is the last two of the Jessica Darling series, which I read the first three of last month. I can safely say now after finishing these last two in the series that it is notalgia that was helping me enjoy my reread of this series. Unfortunately these two in the series don’t hold nearly as much notalgia as the first three, so I didn’t enjoy these as much. I’m still not sad I read them though.

Scarlet, Cress, and Winter by Marissa Meyer- I listened to these on audiobook. These are the last three books in the Lunar Chronicles and I listened to the first last month. I went to write this review and looked at last month's review I wrote of Cinder and was wondering why I didn’t give it more praise because this series is awesome! Then I remembered that these just get better as you get further along. I’ve had a blast listening to these again!

The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian- Finally something that’s not a reread! Haha. I picked this up having read and enjoyed another Bohjalian novel, and because my interest was piqued by the fact the new HBO Max show of the same name is based on this novel. This one definitely kept me turning pages. It was a fun, fast paced thriller. I’m working my way through the show now, and I have to mention that if you're looking for a faithful adaptation that the show is not it. The show’s not bad, just more different from the book than I expected. Also, the book is always better. Right?

What did you read this month? Be sure to share down below!

Happy Reading!
