1st book I ever read. It went something like, "I see a monkey. I see a tree. Do you see the bee? Uh-oh."

Simple cartoon picture book. Illustrations maybe similar style to "Curious George?"

I think I remember roughly 4 lines per page?

Might have been a big, hard cover book with paper pages... The monkey and be got into a quarrel. I think the bee ended up stinging the monkey.

I'm pretty sure the story is The Monkey And The Bee by Leland B. Jacobs, and it appears in the The Read-It-Yourself Storybook - not sure if it's in other collections too.
