My review of
The Power Game by Meg Keneally & Tom Keneally, #3 in their historical Monsarrat series, this one set in Maria Island, Tasmaniahttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My review for Diamond Dove by Adrian HylandWhich totally impressed me. My review is not much; when I really enjoy a book, the way I did this one, I get intimidated. Plus, I honestly could not find a thing to criticise about it.

For me, and for many others, the name Alexander McCall Smith on the cover guarantees a delightful read. The Joy and Light Bus Company, #22 in the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series, is no exception.5★s

The Rowland Sinclair historical mystery series is terrific. He and friends travel around the world "between the wars" (WWI & WWII), chasing Nazis, dodging gangsters, mixing with the rich and famous (which Rowly is himself). Cameos: JFK, Errol Flyyn, F. Scott Fitzgerald among others.

For such a shy kid, Andy Warhol surprisingly grew up to become a famous Pop Artist and friend of celebrities. Here's another book for kids and their grown-ups. (colourful education!)

Could someone tell me if this is an Aussie author. I have my review marked as Aussie, but I see she was born in NZ.

I believe she lived in Melbourne for many years so I think that allows her to count as AA!

Deep Water by Sarah EpsteinMy review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Perhaps because I'm familiar the main characters now, but I enjoyed the second book in Robert Gott's Holiday Murders series, The Port Fairy Murders even more than the first. Gott really gives it an authentic 1940's feel.5★s

Don't forget to remember! Having said that, you're probably remembering it all wrong anyway. Neuroscientist Lisa Genova has got it all covered in Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting, which explains a lot about why we argue about memories and worry about dementia.
Interesting, easy read and excellent resource.

Aussie journalist and author Tim Ayliffe's John Bailey is the war-weary journo who discovers what working for The Greater Good really means. Dirty politicians, spies, criminals. Murder in contemporary Sydney. Love it!
