My review of
The Bombay Prince by Sujata Massey, another excellent addition to her historical mystery series featuring a woman lawyer in 1920s India.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Another gripping thriller in the "Prey" series by author John Sandford,
Night Prey has 5★ written all over it.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Spook Street was the first book in Mick Herron's Slough House/Jackson Lamb series that I read, and I was immediately hooked enough to go back to #1 and read them in order. Sean Barrett's gravelly tones are absolutely perfect for the audio version. 5★s

I've just read
Business by J.P. Meyboom. Definitely not my usual fare and I struggled with the first half, but I did end up enjoying it towards the end.review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My review for Helen Lacey The Night That Changed Everything

And Now You're Back by British author, Jill Mansell is the perfect antidote for a rather disappointing romcom I reviewed here a few days ago. Fans of Happy Ever After should look no further.5★s

I love Steven A. McKay’s books. I don’t tend to read series much, but after I read The Druid (Warrior Druid of Britain Book 1) and loved it, I started Book 2, Song of the Centurion, which I am almost finished, and then I will start the Book 3 – The Northern Throne. I hope I don’t become obsessed, because I have quite a few books on my To Read list. My review of The Druid.

I've been walking in France and Italy with Two Steps Onward, a sequel to Two Steps Forward. This time I probably didn't get as strong a sense of being there as I did last time, but I still enjoyed it very much.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
3.5 stars for this fantasy romance novella
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maashttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Despite the plot holes and the unconvincing (for me anyway) ending, I do think Catch Us The Foxes by Aussie author Nicola West is a fairly impressive debut novel. I think the cover is ugly, though, and I doubt that Kiama will like the way it has been portrayed...3.5★s

Carry: A Memoir of Survival on Stolen Land, by Métis author Toni Jensen, is a collection of powerful essays and stories about dispossession, trafficking, gun violence and general abuse of and disregard for the First Nations peoples of the Americas.Jensen has had quite a life and shares it, warts and all.

My review for Fiona M. Marsden A Matter of Trust: A Redemption Creek Novel

I read the print version of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer nine years ago and found it funny and moving. The audio version is read by Jeff Woodman, Barbara Caruso and Richard Ferrone who really do the text justice. 5★s

Aussie author Jane Riley's second novel, Geraldine Verne's Red Suitcase deals very sensitively with grief and is funny and feel-good. 4★s

The Long Game by AA Simon Rowell, a murder mystery with a police detective recovering from trauma and her service doghttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My reading of late has become very random and I’ve decided to just go with it and read whatever takes my interest rather than be guilt ridden from the vulgar accusatory stare of my burgeoning tbr pile 😆 I figure at least I’m reading. My most recently finished read was: Is This Me? by Aussie author Anita Horan
It is a Memoir and #1 in a trilogy which I read about by chance in an online review and found very interesting and moving in parts.
I gave it 4⭐️s

The Rising Tide by Sam Lloyd (author of The Memory Wood) is a dark and atmospheric thriller.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I've also just finished
The Enemy Within by Tim Ayliffe, a cracking Australian thriller featuring investigative journalist John Bayley who is investigating the rise of white supremacy groups and domestic terrorism.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I would have to say that Freeze Frame, the fourth book in Peter May's Enzo Macleod series, is the best thus far. I was certain I had guessed the murderer, but the author had me completely fooled.5★s
