Kate | 2 comments I am looking for a young adult book about the main character's encounter with druids.
There was some peer pressure to take pills.
The main character was named Sam.
Sam had just moved to the area with his dad.
I think it was set in upstate New York, but I'm not sure about that.

The book would have been available about 1987.

Kate, what's the genre - e.g., YA (teen) fantasy fiction?

What kind of pills?
