you have talked about reading and writing reviews while walking before...how do you do that "while" walking?

reading i do as it sounds literally....i read literally while walking....writing is a bit harder, but i can do that too...usually requeires a lot of editing, but it's doable....as in i type as i walk.
other than that, usually i type when i sit down after walking for nearly half an hour outside, and if i'm not writing anything, then i read. i read stuff on netgalley mostly when i'm walking on my phone....only recently have i started reading the netgalley approved stuff on my laptop (read last week)

i just realised how unsafe that sounds, especially when i'm listening to music when i do it too, but i walk inside my society, and only on the very ends....also, my society has only two of the four edges where cars can come, so i just have to look up at the corners and maintain general awarenes....i've gotten pretty good at multitasking! i also only stick to one side oft he path/road when i walk, whenever i cross i look behind me

i do that too, but i have so many ebooks to read, so i always do them first, and listen when i have time
my parents don't mind...i think....it's a pretty closed society and everyone drives slow, and i'm always super aware of what's going on....

also, i'm pretty sure they do know that i do it because it's not like i'm invisible while walking form the balcony of our house, and my father has referred to it a few times while teasing me, so I don't think they mind...proabbaly

about the neck hurting, let me tel you a story

the story begins in 7th standard when my best friend would wither poke me int he back or kick ime in the shins in the assembly, because she used to sstand behind me, and we used to get awards for best posture or some shit, and i used to have terible posture, always slouching and putting my weight on one leg


afetr multiple incidents and fights and some months later, lo and behold, i am now incapable of slouching and putting my wright on one leg for too long. it feels weird now, and while walking, i maintain a very straight body....yeah it does hurt sometimes, but not as much as i think it would if i didn't walk like i do....my head is alwasy facing parallel to the ground and tilted slightly downwards, and my phone is always shoulder height....i keep switching hands, but somedays i don't even need to...and i walk for nearly an hour so that's saying somehting

I download way too many ebooks too. And not always with the intention of reading them immediately. And i think i can focus better and get more reading done via audiobooks.

oh, that's sad....i used to go in the mornings last year, but then classes in the mornings and general laziness in the winters interfered and i used to go in the evenings.....but a few days back my parents didn't let me go because i wa going at 5:30. now i have to lelave befor e5 or they just won't let me go, saying it's not a good time because of the monsoon, mosquitoes, insects, etc

I used to have a bad posture while walking too. It's improved a lot. But i still have cervical issues.

oooh, i used to have this phase when i used to wake up at 4....though that was mostly because i have uninterrupted internet tine int he mronings, and everyone's sleeping....noadays i wake up around 7:30, and the first thing i do is come out into the front room, half asleep and check the phone for new emails froom netgalley,....when there are none, i relax and start with the brushing....if not, then i brush super fast and start booting up the laptop to do disaster control
