Mine was Elephant Secret, but it was a reread of one of my favorites. So I’d go with The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.

So I wanted to read 6 books in the 12 days and I did. I nearly got a 7th in but oh well.

The best of the bunch by far was A Stitch in Time by Kelley Armstrong. It was a high 4 star rating. She is one of my favourite authors who publishes a couple of books each year. She writes fantasy, thrillers, ya fantasy, science fiction, romance and short stories. Four of my six books needed to be returned to the library by the end of the month so this challenge was good additional motivation.
