I have vague memories of the story line. I remember that one she falls through the water into this other world, she has a dead(?) male character helping to guide her along. There’s some important detail about a man with a creepy smile (maybe her guide, maybe someone else). I think it might be a short series. Somewhere in the storyline she visits something like the Dead Sea. One other random detail is that in her home life I think she has like a rock or crystal collection.
