Thanks, Nancy - I've heard good things about it, and I've wanted to read it too!
It's available as an ebook on Hoopla, but there are wait lists for the ebook and eaudio on Libby/Overdrive, and also for the book and audiobook in the library system. But it may be easier to get in January.
I'll add it to our poll, thanks again!

Hi everyone,
I just checked with my director, and unfortunately we won't be able to add The Lying Life of Adults as a possible title for January. It's just too new, and too many of the physical and digital copies of the book and audiobook are out on loan, or are on a long waitlist. But we'll definitely add it to a month later this year, when it's not so new and in demand.
In the meantime, maybe we could add Elena Ferrente's My Brilliant Friend as a possible January title.
Let us know if you think of any good book to start off the year - thanks!
And happy holidays! :)

Thanks for recommending Magic Lessons, but we have the same situation with this title as we do with The Lying Life of Adults - it's still a new book, with too many physical and digital copies out on loan, and a long wait list. We can definitely add it to a later month!
We could add Alice Hoffman's The Rules of Magic to our January poll, though - it's part of the same "Practical Magic" series, and would be great to discuss.

I think it would be a great book to discuss too, Nancy - thanks! I've been wanting to read it, and to also check out the show.
