Sue | 2709 comments Another great thriller from Blake Crouch.

Similar to Dark Matter, this book explores the meaning of time. Where Dark Matter looked at the idea of multiple universes, Recursion goes into what does time mean to each individual. Do we really experience things in real time, or is everything already a memory by the time our brains register it.

The characters create a device to allow them to explore their ideas of time and memory - and similar to Dark Matter, the end result is far from benevolent.

I really enjoyed this book and had no idea where it might end up. I will say the last 1/3 of the book was repetitive (intentionally repetitive, but still) and started to drag just a little. But overall a good page turner.

Sue | 2709 comments Hahaha - I've actually been having a hard time sticking to a book just lately. I picked up this one since I expected it to be interesting enough to hold my attention, but at the same time not need too much attention to read it.

I don't think its Poll Ballot hangover, I think its just the time of year.
