Okay so it takes place in New Orleans. It's this book about a boy whose dad was a demon and now he's in jail for murder. These other demons come and posses the football team and start eating people and theres like zobmies, and the main character is friends with a guy who owns a thrift store and also sells guns and is obsessed with zombie apocolypses. He has to discover his power n junk. Thats really all I know. It's got a Harry Potter/Percy Jackson-esque vibe. Read it last year (2019). The author is a lady named Sherilyn Kenya i think.
