Date 8 - Tasks: Breakdown of the qualifications for possible tasks for Date 8.Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.
Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the page count and edition - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!
You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.
R is for Rah-Rah - Read a sports romance.
To qualify, your book needs to be a sports romance. This can be evident in the precis, title, series, tags or lists. The qualification can be generic such as 'sports' and 'sports romance' or it can be specific such as 'football', 'hockey' 'baseball' and 'quarterback'. Remember, you need to let me know how you know the book qualifies - simply saying 'hero is an athlete' is NOT enough!
R is for Razor - Read a book with a clean-shaven model on the cover.
To qualify, the cover of the selected book needs to show a clean-shaven ADULT MALE model on the cover. There can be no facial hair - no beard, no mustache, no obvious scruff or 5 o'clock shadow. You can use any edition of the book to qualify for this task.
R is for Rift - Read a second chance romance.
To qualify for this task, the title, series title, precis, tags or lists need to indicate that the book is second chance romance. Again, remember you need to let me know how you know the book qualifies - stating 'book is a second chance romance' will not qualify your book!
R is for Rome - Read a book set in a European country.
To qualify, the selected book needs to be set in a European country. For this task, the book's setting needs to be included on this list List of States/Territories of Europe). You can use the setting from the book details on the main book page, precis, title, tags or lists.

To qualify, the cover of the selected book needs to show a clean-shaven ADULT MALE model on the cover. There can be no facial hair - no beard, no mustache, no obvious scruff or 5 o'clock shadow. The cover does not need to show the entire head of the male model, but it has to show from the nose down at a minimum, basically the area that would have facial hair. The area from the nose down of the face must be visible in the cover. It can not be in shadows or a silhouette. You can use any edition of the book to qualify for this task. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts. If you have any questions please ask BEFORE you read the book!.
Remember books must be 90 pages (first edition English language Kindle) and MPG Romance!!

In the Scavenger Hunt thread, I will only be listing the claims that are complete. The first complete post for any book will claim it. If the book doesn't qualify, I will still comment stating so. If the book isn't listed, but I didn't comment, something is wrong/missing in your completion post - and the book can be claimed by another participant.

Have you read red, white & royal blue? That fits the call, it’s a sweet fun read, although it does get slightly political. I was going to reread it but the wait time at my library is 4 weeks 🙄

Oh. I love Red, White & Royal Blue. It got translated to swedish last year, by a friend of mine. So I’ve read it three times 😅 English, audio and Swedish lol.
