And because your name has to be changed to avoid being combined with a different author any changes that come from Amazon won't use the extra space in your name, that is something that is done manually on Goodreads. The best way is to tell a Goodreads Librarian (me) and I can add an updated version with the extra space in your name. I just need to know what book has been updated and I can get it added for you.

The cover on Amazon is the current one, the book has been removed from the free sites where the old one was used.
I bought several of my images on Canva and the license doesn't allow for enough pixels to use it on Amazon so I had to change the covers. I will have to bother you with this almost every other month except for August. (Sorry!!!)
I have just discovered that the book description on the above mentioned book needs to be updated too...

No worries! You can always message me here or send me a DM and I can make the changes.
When the cover is updated a new "alternate cover" edition is created so that those with the old covers can still find the book that way and so it will so which version they read. There is the old cover version that is just listed as an ebook but the new updated cover is listed as the Kindle edition with the ASIN information. Both have the updated descriptions.
Please let me know as soon as you get images of the new covers and I can get new versions added for you. :-)
The new cover is on the Amazon listed version but it has not turned up on GR despite being published two days ago with the ASIN above. I suppose there is some kind of delay from Amazon... I have the new cover but my clipboard did not allow me to paste it here. Is there another way I can send it to you, Danielle?

It's here on GR. You just need to scroll to where it says other editions and you will see the second version with the correct image. The other editions show just under where it has the page count and format information. Please let me know if you still can't see it and I will try to post a direct link for you. :-)
Thank you, Danielle.This is a little embarrassing but I am on android mode of GR which is probably why I cannot see the editions. I will check it on my laptop later and it probably will appear in desktop mode.

Oh Erin I am so sorry I didn't even think to tell you that for a lot of the things you can't see them so easily (if at all) on the mobile apps. I hope they start to add some of the desktop functionality to the apps, especially the ability to see different covers and to link to the purchases sites.

I got it added and grouped with the 2 other books in the series. They are not numbered because Amazon did not identify their order (Books 1, 2, or 3) so I did not order them in the group but if the order is listed somewhere let me know and I can order them here on Goodreads.

I don't know if Allie Cresswell has numbered this series but Tall Chimneys was written first. Later she wrote two prequels and intends to write a third.When the series is complete, the chronological order will be:
The House in the Hollow
The Lady in the Veil
one more book
Tall Chimneys

I have a question about a future release:I have extended a book that was originally 52k, it is now approaching 150k which means it is the same premises, title and author but not the same story nor cover. Should it be paired with the old version that will be deleted upon the new book's release?

Hi Erin! So the "new" book will be added as a new version, it will be connected with the old book because the title is the same and it is an updated version. Now, if you are adding it with a new AISN/ISBN then it can be easier to differentiate. When it is set to be released let me know and I will add it with a note letting readers know that this updated version is in fact not the same story, that is an updated/extended version. The old version can't be deleted or changed because there are readers who have that version and even though you update the story on your end they will still have the old version unless the buy the new one.

I guess when I replied to your message I didn't actually hit "post" so I blame old age...lol
Because the original did not have an ASIN or ISBN it will be much easier, it won't try to take people to an old copy of the book on a seller's site. The note will be easier to write and easier for people to see it is that you took your story and further developed it.
Let me know when you have the numbers and cover and I can add it for you. :-)

I got them all moved over to the right Julie and joined the sequel to the Tempt Me series so they are listed together. :-)

Thankfully I have had a couple of months to get things sorted so I know what I am taking, selling, or giving away. But I will be so so so happy after they have come to pick things up on the 27th.

Thanks everyone! Thankfully I have had a lot of experience with moving internationally from my time in the Air Force so it is not so bad, it is just not as fun when "I" have to pay for it....lolI am excited to be going back to the US where I can walk into a bookstore but I am going to miss my family and the culture here in the Dominican Republic. If you ever want an amazing beach vacation come here, I will tell you all the best places to go and when. FYI, late Feb to early March is best, it's less crowded and much cheaper. Plus that is when the humpback whales swim past with the new babies!

The movers come on the 27th and then it will take about 8 weeks before it gets to the US so it is going to be a while. It just may take me a few days to check here sometimes but I will be hopping online often because I will still be working so don't hesitate to send a message. :-)
