Finished first book of the year; 51 to go!Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Highly recommended. Great story with some psychology, sociology, political science, and philosophy thrown in.
2. Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel WilkersonImportant topic; somewhat uneven execution. Still worth a read.
8. Athelstan: The Making of England by Tom HollandGreat little history of the first king of all England.

13. A Month of Sundays by John UpdikeI liked the Rabbit series; did not care for this one. Too pretentious.

16. The Gulf: The Making of An American Sea by Jack Emerson DavisGreat, broad history of the Gulf of Mexico.
