I finally remembered! It wasn't an audiobook and I am terrified to listen to it if is an audiobook... The Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day. It is 50 Shades-ish, and was supposed to be a trilogy, but they changed it to a series of six books... I gave up at three, but I am tempted to re-read/listen to the series because I need to know what happens, but it is so sexually cheesy and so 50 shades.... I am torn!
Maybe you should go to the last book and just get the answers.
I actually did that on the Christine Feehan Carpathian series as I was tired of the series and had put it down for a while. So... picked up Dark Slayer, which hooked me back in because the story (not the singing and poems) was really good. Haven't read a really good one (memorable) since. So I have like 4 books I skipped in the middle of the series. I suspect I didn't miss anything as I still feel I know what is going on. Actually it is so damn repetitive that you really don't need to read in order, it'll be explained, over and over.

Omg I read the Crossfire Series its not that bad...well atleast Gideon is better than Christian Grey ;-; It has more substance to it than Fifty Shades of Grey :/....I hope you can finish the series xD
I do want to finish it, simply because I am invested and yes Sylvia Day is a far better writer than E.L. James. I wonder if Audio would be the way to go... What do you think?

Um I guess if you go for audio you may laugh a lot more then continue lisetening to their story especially the voice effect xD so if you want to know the story more better go for the book but it will take time....but if you want it to be a fun read or something then go for the audio....you might get bored listening to it or start imagining things eh in the end its upto you.
So I'm starting to dread Chicagoland Vampires. It starts so good with Merrit a kick ass new Vampire with mad skills. Not a A series but really good. Even though I've liked some of the stories after book 5, I've felt some sort of irritation and have avoided running to it. The last 2 books have been disappointments. Since there are only 2 more... I'll reluctantly read the conclusion.
Just read through to see what my series that started great and now I really should stop. Just finished another Lynsay Sands Argeneau and realized that the last 14 books were 3 or lower for me. No real good ones. I then today I contemplated picking up Lords of the Underworld but read my review of The Darkest Torment. God I loved this series at first. **sigh** Still haven't finished Chicagoland. I finished Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince and was disappointed. Out of 4 book I gave it 2 1/2 stars as average.
So leaves-
Argeneau
Lords of the Underworld
Black Dagger Brotherhood
The Carpathians (Dark series)
Love at Stake
So these are ones I haven't quite talked myself out of... maybe...
