Louise, this is done. You can re-post.

The task number you've posted does not match the task description you've given. Based on the description, I assume this post is supposed to be 15.5, not 25.5. If this is correct, no need to repost. Please adjust your records, as needed.

Task 10.1 requires a book written by a single author. Ghosts and Grisly Things has 3 editors.
From the Default Rules & FAQs: 7. Do illustrators and translators count as authors for SRC purposes?
No. Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks.

Thanks Kristina. Yes, it should have been 5.6. One of my records says 5.6, the other 5.7. Now all fixed.

That's so weird because I see the html linked on my end when I click on edit, even though I don't see it in the post. I reposted it again and it appears to have linked it.

There is no JacquiP on the Readerboard. You requested your Readerboard name be JACQUI on 12/4/20. Please place this Readerboard name at the top of your completed task posts.
You will need to repost tasks 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 with JACQUI at the top of your post. Reposts are NEW posts to the completed task thread. Please do not edit or delete old posts.

List tasks such as 5.9 require that you state the page of the list where your book can be found. I can change the URL to take me to a specific page. I cannot quickly and easily navigate to a given book #.
Please repost this task with the required page number.

Task 10.5 requires that you read a second book by an author you first read in 2020.
When you post in the completion thread for points, you're required to link to the first book you read by the author and state the date you read that book. The first book must have been read between 1/1/20 and 11/15/20.

Posting requirement #14. If a task contains multiple options, your post must specify the options that you are using.
I've figured it out and recorded your task but, in the future, please make sure to include which option you're using so I don't have to guess.

Task 15.1 requires that the artist name and song title you use must come from the SAME day.
Canned Heat: Larry Taylor played on Saturday (day 2)
8:30pm to 9:15pm, "Speak Like A Child" was performed on Friday (day 1)
Also, please make sure your Readerboard name appears at the top of every completed task post.

You're correct, I meant 15.5. Thanks for catching this. Can I edit the post to correct the numbering or will that re-order my post within the thread? Thanks!

Your display name does not match your total. Please repost with your assigned Readerboard name.

Please see the Rules of the Challenge:

Task 30.5, option 1 requires that a significant portion of the plot/subject takes place in a healthcare setting. Drums of Autumn does not fit that requirement.

Task 30.1, option 3 requires an an ordinal number that corresponds to a day in the month (i.e., 1st through 31st) in its title. Ordinal numbers are numbers that tells the position of something in a list, such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. Both 5 and 1 are cardinal numbers.

Task 30.5, option 1 requires a significant portion of the plot/subject takes place in a healthcare setting. The setting must be evident on the book's main page. I do not see evidence of a healthcare setting on the main page of The Beacon at Alexandria. If it's there, please provide a link to the review that mentions how the book fits the task.

Task 30.7, option 2 is an author dependent task. From the Default Rules and FAQs: "8. What if a book has multiple authors in a task involving author names, initials, or other characteristics (gender, birthplace, etc.)?
The general default rule is that books by a single author must be used."
Island on Fire: The Extraordinary Story of a Forgotten Volcano That Changed the World has two authors and will not work for this option.

Task 15.1, book 1 requires that the book be written by a singe author. Heroes Among Us: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Choices shows a record of 2 authors. If this is incorrect, you will need to have a librarian update the Goodreads record before reposting this task.

Task 25.3, option 4 requires that you point out the yellow and blue when you post.

The task number you've posted does not match the task description you've given. Based on the description, I assume this post is supposed to be 15.5, not 10.8 (again). If this is correct, there's no need to repost. Please adjust your records, as needed, and check your total.

Task 20.9 requires that your book have at least 250 pages. The Hiding Place: The Triumphant True Story of Corrie Ten Boom has 242 pages.

There is no mass market paperback, only paperbacks. I just clicked the first paperback I could find. Other paperbacks have more than 250 pages. Does it matter which paperback I choose?

Yes, I forgot to change the title after copying and pasting.

Never mind, I just read the rules again and applied the strategy for when there is no mass market. It would still be the 242 pages. I'll find a different book then. No biggie!

Dlmrose in the length verification thread says there is a paperback version. Should I re-post with the link to that book rather than the Kindle version that I read?
