Garfield | 3 comments I was really young when I read this book. Most of it was full of difficult words, and I only remember vaguely about it. It's about a little girl... I have no memory of the plot. I just remember about an objet who was a "magic chocolate charm", means that everything that the charm touch had a chocolate taste. I also remember about her being possibly link to the queen, like her hidden/lost child,or something. In this world, the queens rule without a king, btw. And the final hint, I can remember about some ghost characters, one in particularly, who was supposed to go with her in a house, but since he didn't visit it when he was still alive he couldn't get it. He could have done though while he was living, since he was invited in a party there, but he didn't feelt like it at the time.
I must add that I'm french, hense the broken english for this search ; but also the book may have been written by a french writer and never translate. So it's kinda a tricky request. But thanks to anyone who can possibly help me, though!

Rosa (rosaiglarsh) | 5383 comments It's the Septimus Heap series, by Angie Sage. The chocolate charm is in Flyte.

Garfield, is this book for kids or teens?

Around what year did you read this book? A range of years is fine.

Wow, honestly I was at a point where I though I imagined it. But I recognize the cover, it's totally it! Thanks a lot, Rosa! 😻😽
