Kelly, in the Quest thread, you can add "Everybody Lies" to your Healing quests post.

Netflix? :) That's what I usually end up doing. I'm always watching stuff a few seasons behind where they're at.
So what do you guys think of the quest arrangement? I know it's a little scattered but I thought it might help with people trying to pick a quest for a specific goal since most people aren't at the "I do every quest" stage.

I figure what I pay for V.I.P. Rogers Cable and HBO is more than plenty. Son's is playing season 5 or more on FX but I missed last year's catch-up Marathon.
Ahh. We just do Netflix and Amazon prime. Between that and the library I have way too much TV and movies.
Zuzana wrote: "Kelly, in the Quest thread, you can add "Everybody Lies" to your Healing quests post."Will do next time I get on the mod account. I kept thinking I missed that one and now I know why... cause I did.
BTW :) Just wrote up a monster that will make everyone cringe. Muahhahaa. Maybe I'm still channeling my Christmas Grinch.
I'm hoping update will be out today.
January Update up here
Jill has new training and Jack has new classifieds.
I will probably be putting out another update with a world event later this month once things calm down and some quests may get expiry dates at that point.

For the 2nd Berry Quest:Is BUMBLEBERRY OK?
Also receive a 10 Hp instant heal upon completing the quest since berry pie has a restorative effect.
A full heal for me is 32 pts. Would I still only get 10 HP?

It's just the few words listed to pick from. (Was supposed to be another easy one for newer people.)
And it's just the 10 HP :P This one was focused on the newer people since the last few updates have been harder.

Aww. Ok
It's just that I need more than 800 exp pts to get to the next level. I don't mind reading more books to get the exp. pts. Like in essential oils.
Love the update, Kelly. The new moster is insane. :) Great to have some simple quests to gain HP/health potions.
Why Kelly is (not so) secretly devious: I tried to find some "terrible books" for Threat of Fire quest. These are first three I came across (using listopia):Birth Control Is Sinful in the Christian Marriages and Also Robbing God of Priesthood Children!!
Coming Out Straight: Understanding and Healing Homosexuality
A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality
If you come across a horrible book that IS READABLE please share it here because I'm sure I won't be able to read any of the trash listed above. ;)

ouch
Oh, I love the new Quest thread! It's a great overview, it makes picking what to do so much easier. :-D
Reva wrote: "Yeah, who'd want to waste time reading a Terrible book?"Yup, it's bad enough when it happens by chance.
Last year I gave 1 star rating only 5 times. And none of those books qualifies as "terrible" by the quest's standards. Well, it seems I'll have to skip this one. :(
Zuzana wrote: "Daphne wrote: "Wild Animus maybe?"Thanks, Daphne. :) Did you read that one yourself?"
Nope. I think I might though. It sounds bizarre, and I can get on board with books like that sometimes. :)
Zee wrote: "For the task: read a book where the author or main character has a name in top 10 on a listCan I have Sara for Sarah?"
Can I have a ruling for this please Kelly?
Maria wrote: "Oh, I love the new Quest thread! It's a great overview, it makes picking what to do so much easier. :-D"Totally agree. Thanks for such a great update, Kelly!
I have one for you: The Tale of Onora: The Boy and the Peddler of Death the paper back has 107 pgs :) most of the reason the book is rated so low is the author behaves very badly over negative reviews. plus the book isn't great from what I hear, but not horrendous.
Teresa wrote: "I have one for you: The Tale of Onora: The Boy and the Peddler of Death the paper back has 107 pgs :) most of the reason the book is rated so low is the author behaves very badly ov..."lol. Oh it's horrendous.
I was there for his most notable attack, and read out of spite and to document all the instances of plagiarism.
There were a lot. The Bible and Shakespeare among them...though those are works hardly anyone might recognize.... >.> lol. Goodreads deleted my original review post reading (and all the documentation).
He also was buying 5 star reviews here and on amazon and steals art from various artists on deviantart to use as "promotion" for his work on twitter.
*can anyone tell I don't have a high opinion of him as a human?* :P
Reva wrote: "LOL. I'd suggest Eco's Foucault's Pendulum but it's too many pages to suffer through"LOL! It's 3.88 stars on GR right now. So even if you suffered through it again you wouldn't be able to use it. ;)
BTW I loved The Name of the Rose so who knows? I might even like it. And I bought A Theory of Semiotics for my nephew for Christmas (he needs it for school, poor baby).
Morgan wrote: "lol. Oh it's horrendous. I was there for his most notable attack, and read out of spite and to document all the instances of plagiarism. ..."
WOW! There are almost no reviews on that book's page (only ratings). He probably gets them all deleted.
Kelly,1) would you accept a Jedi lightsaber as "a light on the cover"?
e.g.
or
2) for "Read a book where something exists that no one believes in" , would it be o.k. if there is a vampire/werewolves community (MCs) but the general public is not aware and does not believe in their existence ?
3) Is "the", "a/an" or various prepositions o.k. for "a 3 letter word in the title"?
TIA. As you can see I'll try to get my magic staff bauble next. ;)
Great job on the new updates Kelly! But I must say that new monster is scary o.O Luckily I won't have to think about him too much because I still have a lot to do before I'm even ready to begin thinking about attacking him!
Don't know if anyone noticed but there are new gift cards available (exp in May) - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
They may come in handy later on!
Zuzana, the first 2 are fine. The third should be a 3 letter word so the would work but not a or an. Any 3 letter word is fine.
Roacher the Bard stands up, clears his throat loudly and declaims!
"I have a wond'rous tale to share, hurry over to the theatre!"

Kelly wrote: "Zuzana, the first 2 are fine. The third should be a 3 letter word so the would work but not a or an. Any 3 letter word is fine."Thanks, Kelly. For some strange reason I understood it as a word with three or less letters.
So happy! After a long break over December I came back to my quests and was able to get my first horse!! He tells me his name is Condor but I'm going to call him Muffins :D
Two Empty Halves of Coconuts
FINISHED - 1/3/2016
Reward: Horse 2 is a Baroque Horse built for attack. He will give you 1 extra attack to both your weapons.

Kelly, from Correction Fluid description: "- All Health Gems (HP lowers by amount of Health Gem loss)"
So far there has been only one Health Gem (Academy quest - now expired). Does it mean that there's gonna be a new quest and we'll be able to get a second one (or possibly more of them)?
P.S. I don't count the green gem, because while it affects health too, it's not called "Health Gem".
Hi, I'm new to this questy thing. Sound like a lot of fun. How do you start? Can someone point me in the right direction. I read the rules post and understand how to kill things and level up (I think). Do I just start a thread with my name and grab a current quest?

Looks like you got your thread.
Pick some of the shorter quests to get experience points. You'll level up faster.
If you plan to attack rats for experience points, level up your staff or sword.
Feel free to ask any questions and visit the Tavern often. ;-)

Shield is a separate item to lose for that monster. And yes, I was planning on doing more health gems :P
