Winter20 Read-a-thon: Millions of Miles of Pages
Note: please make a new post for each day's pages read so that I can keep track of how much we read each day! Audiobooks will be converted at 1 min = 1 page.
Good morning to all our passengers! Thanks to the 2,935 pages read we have currently travelled 293.5 million miles from Earth. We hope everyone enjoyed their views of Mars during dinner last night. This morning, we begin our orbit of Jupiter. On your right, you can see the famous red spot. To your left, you can see Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. Today's breakfast is a reflection of Europa's ice-covered oceans: salted lime and pineapple slushies and blueberry 'moon'-cakes.

Ladies, gentlemen, and nonbinary guests, the Captain has turned on the Fasten Seat Belt sign. If you haven’t already done so, please stow your carry-on luggage underneath the seat in front of you or in an overhead bin. Please take your seat and fasten your seat belt. Make sure your seat back and folding trays are in their full upright position.
We remind you that this is a non-smoking flight. Smoking is prohibited on the entire aircraft, including the lavatories. Tampering with, disabling or destroying the lavatory smoke detectors is prohibited by law.
This rocket ship is powered by a Space Engine 2001, which converts pages read to space miles at a conversion rate of 1 page read to 10 million miles traveled. This is the latest model so feel free to read visually or by audiobook, according to your preference.
Thank you, and we hope you enjoy your flight!
