I'd like to welcome 👋Sunshine to the mod team! Welcome aboard, it's good to have you. Sunshine will be handling our Challenges going forward.
We could still use a moderator to oversee our Games section. If you are interested in helping out please feel free to contact Gem, we'd love to have you.
The mod team has run up against an interesting glitch due to an improvement that Goodreads has implemented to cut down on spam. One individual may only open three discussions per hour. This prevents us from sitting down and opening all the nominations and group read discussions at one time. Therefore for those members who have their accounts set to email you when a new discussion is posted, you're going to see some strange "new discussions." I created a new folder that the moderators will be using to set up reserved discussion several days ahead of time so they are there when we need them. Sorry about any confusion or aggravation this might cause you. This was the best workaround we could come up with.
