SOLVED. Children’s Picture fiction book: Grumpy man receives a mistaken package and starts acting nice to people in town. [s]

The book is a children’s picture book that I heard last year (early 2020), but the book itself is older (I’m not sure how old). In the story, there is a man that is rude to everyone, but after getting a package from a secret admirer he feels special and starts to be kind to all the people in his town. Eventually, the mailman returns and tells him that he mistakenly had given him the package and the man is sad because he realizes there wasn’t someone out there that cared about him. Then the whole town shows up to show that they appreciate the new, kind version of the man.
