Eujean2 | 77 comments I am really working on how I might use past, present, & future.
Things are likely to shift when I see the Pop Sugar & Book Riot lists.

Books I am pretty sure I will read in 2021:
- Black Sun
- Black Water Sister
- Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants
- Cemetery Boys
- Darius the Great Is Not Okay
- Disability Visibility : First-Person Stories from the Twenty-first Century *
- Elatsoe
- Felix Ever After
- I Want To Be Where the Normal People Are
- Mediocre: The Dangerous Legacy of White Male America
- Mexican Gothic
- Not Your Hero *
- On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous
- Patron Saints of Nothing
- The Picture of Dorian Gray
- Remote Control
- Slay *
- Such a Fun Age
- Ten Steps to Nanette
- The Bone Witch
- The City of Brass
- The City We Became
- The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly
- The Relentless Moon
- Upright Women Wanted
- Untitled Heroine Complex #5 (if it comes out in 2021)
- When Sorrows Come (new October Daye)
and, if it gets reprinted:
- Peter Darling (I wanted to read this in 2020, but it was frustratingly out of print.)

* not sure how or if it fits in to the ATY challenge

Eujean2 | 77 comments If I don't get to read Shadowshaper Legacy this year, I will definitely be reading it in 2021!

Here is my current thinking on "past - present - future":
1. an historical fantasy
2. a (contemporary) urban fantasy
3. a speculative fantasy
All by authors of color &/or authors from underrepresented groups.
