Read this about 5 years ago. The Cover was green. Maybe called "the island of (something)" but I didn't see any results searching that name. I remember it as one of the weirdest books I ever read.

More details: There were certain people on this island who were born as oracles and everyone travels to them and they are worshipped. The protagonist's sister is known as one of those oracles, but for part of the book, the family of the oracle girl doubts it. Later the rest of the oracles on the island disappear, except for the sister. Then they go on a quest to see if they can solve the mystery.
