A children's picture book about a kid who gets a vacuum and starts to play with it and ends up sucking up everything in the book. The last page is white. Year is around 1990.

YES! Man, I thought his name was Max this whole time. I donated that book as a kid to my school's library on my birthday, which was the tradition back in the late 80s/early 90s. And I haven't been able to find it since.How did you search for it? Or did you just know it?
Awesome, glad to help out!I actually found it by searching Worldcat for the keyword "vacuum" and limited it to kids' books published before 1993.
