SOLVED. A children’s book about a mouse who lives with a little girl. [s]

I read a book when I was a little girl and I can’t think of the title for the life of me!!

It was about a female mouse who I believe wears an apron and she lives in a house where a little girl lives and I think the little girl discovers her and lets her live in a doll house ?

The Tale of Two Bad Mice (the mouse becomes a housemaid after vandalising the doll's house though).
