Hello, I have another book I read a while ago with no title!
I read this about 3-5 years ago.
The main character was a girl, and she lived in a house by and/or in a big forest. There was a boy she became friends with around the same age. They found/built a treehouse, which was in a huge huge tree, right next to a river. Now, this girl, she loved to draw and birdwatch, she was obsessed with birds. One day she and the boy spent a 'sleepover' in the treehouse when they weren't supposed to, just watching the stars.
I remember that the girl was alone, looking through her binoculars out the treehouse window when she saw some sort of bird of prey building a nest. She went and told the boy, and together they watched the birds build the nest, lay eggs, hatch and raise the chicks, teach them to fly.
I think there was a storm(??) or something, and they went and notified someone(??) or something, because somehow they told the authorities about the birds, and they captured them and put a tracker in them or something. Then, it became winter or some season whenever the birds migrate, and the boy and girl were able to track the bird's flight patterns. That is all I remember, sorry! Hope this rings a bell for someone!
