I haven't read that series yet but I'm going to save it for the challenge.

Update: I've finished/caught up with all the series on my list apart from Robin Hobb's, so that's 9 out of 11 books read! While it was not perfect, I'm definitely counting it as a success because without this challenge, I would never have gotten so many of them read! Looking forward to the bigger 2021 challenge. :-)
Congrats, Eva, that's great progress! I only finished 2 out of 4 books on my list, and only finished 1 series out of 3. More for this year, I guess...
That’s amazing, Eva! I haven’t really even started, although I did read and just finished Lock In which was on my list, sort of. There’s only the prequel novella yet to read, I think. Anyway, I am very much looking forward to this challenge. I still think you can call it a success, Kaa!
I finished Harrow the Ninth on the 30th, catching me up with the Locked Tomb series. In 2020 I finished two series total:
Illuminae by Kaufman and Kristoff
(not really a series but I'm calling it one) Jane Austen's novels
I finished five manga series, and caught up with several ongoing series. Listing them would clutter things up, so I'll leave it at that.

Since I must keep my goals modest in order to have a chance of succeeding, I'll increase my goals for 2021 only slightly compared to what I "accomplished" last year:
SFF
- Finish three series.
- Catch up with a series or two whose first books do not have 2021 publishing dates.
Manga
- Finish seven series.
- Catching up with current series is very much a moving target in this category, so no goal there.
Thank you, everyone!@Beth: Sounds great! Btw manga/graphic novels count for the bingo and bonus prompts.
I just realized that if I read The Tombs of Atuan and The Farthest Shore, I'll have both finished a series and read two books for the SFFBC challenge, all with less than 300 pages in hardcover. I'm so cheap. :D I've loved all of Le Guin's books I've read so far, so it will be a pleasure in its own right.
There are two more novels and several short stories in the Earthsea series that come after the Farthest Shore. AND they are even better than the first 3! Tehanu and the Other Wind are both barely novels (so, short), but still. Tales from Earthsea is a collection of stories and then there’s Daughter of Odren, a story I intend to read to finish the series!
By today's standards, the Earthsea novels might be considered novellas. Would they meet SFFBC's length criterion for a book of the month, these days?
I don’t know about that, but the Other Wind *did* win the nebula for best novel and it racks up just over 200 pages.
